Our philosophy and purpose at Timberlane Labradors is to produce English Labradors with proper color, versatility, temperament and conformation according to the standard. We produce the three official colors of Labrador Retrievers: Black, Chocolate, and Yellow (which varies from light to fox red). We believe in protecting the quality of the breed by researching pedigrees of future breedings. The puppies that we raise go to “pet” homes only. These families must provide proper veterinary care and are inside family members receiveing loads of love! All of our puppies are sold with a must spay/neuter contract to protect and insure the quality of our pedigree lines and the health of the dog. Timberlane Labradors are currently showing in all breed and specialty shows in the Southeastern states. We enjoy handling our own dogs in the show ring, which is how our interest in the Labrador began. Keeping and producing well rounded versatile Labradors is very important in our breeding program. We take pride in raising labradors that make outstanding family companions as well as ‘Gentleman Hunting’ dogs. If we have any concerns about the quality of one of our breeding stock dogs, whether it be temperment or health, we have no hesitation in spaying/neutering that dog. We would NEVER produce a litter that we would question the health of the pups.
